We had several groups join us this morning at different times...5:30am to 7:15am.
Teri got in 15 miles in her preparation for the Fargo Marathon!!!
10 came for a run this morning! Runners present were Jim, Jay, Lee, Julie, Teri, Rebecca, Becky, Russ, Leah, and Joe (w/Ruckus). Runs varied from long, to longer, to very long.
Russ chose to run toward home, while Becky did some grocery shopping...so no telling how far he might have gone.
7:15am at the SMS front doors...let me know if you want to get out earlier and I can meet you. I'm sure I will be out by 5am.
Jim

Total of 11 runners this morning for various runs at different times. Jim, Jay, and Kevin got out for a very early start at 5:00am, then met up with Mickie at 6:15. We then picked up Rebecca, Becky, and Russ at the lights at 6:30, and finally Leah and Joe(Ruckus) at the school at 7:15. Jack and Jordan did 4 to finish up the morning. Notable runs for today: Kevin did 20, Jay made it through 14, and Leah ran for about 12 or 13. I ended up with 30 today.

7:15 at the SMS front doors. Let me know if you want to get out earlier and I can meet you. Just so you know, there has been a group meeting at 6:00 or 6:30am at the lights as well for extra miles, if that works out better for you. I am also available to meet earlier than that.
We have had anywhere from 7 to 10 people show up for our Saturday runs for the last 2 months! Great turnout! Everyone should be glad that the weather has improved! Be sure to ask Mickie what happens when you cancel.
Upcoming events you might be interested in:
Fools Five Road Race, April 3, Lewiston, to benefit cancer research. www.foolsfive.org
Mr. Parry's Endurance Challenges, April 22nd, 17 hour treadmill run for the Rochester Area Family Y's Strong Kids Campaign, and 7 marathons in 7 days May 23-29, finishing up with the Med City Marathon. http://mrparrysendurancechallenge.blogspot.com/

March 12 Run
7:15 at the SMS front doors. Let me know if you want to get out earlier and I can meet you. For those who don't know, some have been meeting at the stop lights at either 6:00 or 6:30am for a few extra miles.
It was a miserably cold and windy day for a run, but 8 brave souls made it, some meeting up very early to get in some extra miles. Runners in attendance were: Jim, Kevin, Lee, Jay, Teri, Becky, Russ, and Chloe. Runs varied in distance from 6-25 miles, plus we got in some "ding, dong, ditch" along the way to harrass a runner who shall not be named.

Also, incase you are interested, I will again be doing my 17 hour fundraising run on a treadmill in the lobby of the Rochester Area Family Y to benefit their Strong Kids Campaign. This fund provides scholarships for needy kids to attend Y camps and use their facilities. My run will be on Friday, April 22nd. 2 other treadmills will be set up in the lobby for others to run with me and donate, if they choose. You do not need to be a member of the Y to attend. Please consider stopping by to run with me for a bit if you are able.
